Police say a man has been taken into custody.
BETHESDA, Md. — Police say a woman is dead following a domestic violence call in Montgomery County late Monday night. One person has been taken into custody and there is no threat to the public.
According to the Montgomery County Police Department, officers were called to the 10500 block of West Lake Drive in Bethesda just before 11 p.m. for what investigators call a "domestic related incident." When officers got to the scene, they say they found a woman dead at the scene.
Police said they took a man into custody at the scene, but did not say what charges the man is facing. Police have not identified the man in custody or the woman found dead.
A cause of death has not yet been determined. The woman's body will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to learn exactly how she died.
