The group was last seen traveling in a black Cadillac Escalade with a partial tag LUK.
WASHINGTON — Police are searching for a group of young boys armed with a rifle after two men were shot in Northwest D.C. Wednesday night.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers were flagged down to investigate a shooting at shortly before 11:15 p.m. near the intersection of 11th and G Street NW.
Police say they found no victims in the area but were later alerted that two victims had taken themselves to area hospitals.
The two victims have only been identified as men. Both were conscious and breathing when they arrived at the hospitals and officials say one of the men is in critical condition.
Police are now on the lookout for a group of four to five juvenile boys, wearing all black and armed with a rifle. The group was last seen traveling in a black Cadillac Escalade with a partial tag LUK.
There is no word on any possible motive or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the shooting.
