All three women were taken to area hospitals for help and are expected to survive.
WASHINGTON — Police are asking for the public's help identifying a person they say is connected to a triple shooting that happened in Northeast D.C. last month.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened on June 30.
Just before 1 a.m., officers were called to the 6100 block of Banks Place, Northeast for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found three women had been shot.
All three women were taken to area hospitals for help and are expected to survive.
Investigators say the gunman ran after the shooting. Images of the accused shooter were captured by nearby surveillance cameras. Officers released images of the suspect Wednesday and asked for the public's help identifying the suspect.
There is no word on any motive or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the shooting.
Anyone with information may contact detectives at (202) 727-9099 or text the department's tipline at 50411.
