Police search for possibly abducted woman

CULPEPER, Va. — Police are looking for a missing woman in Virginia. 

Virginia State Police issued a critically missing adult alert for Maricela Maudeli Ortiz at 1:45 a.m. Monday morning on behalf of Culpeper Police. Police believe she was abducted and is in danger.

Ortiz is 34 years old and is described as being 5-foot-1, 180 pounds, having brown eyes and blonde hair. She was last seen on the 500 block of South 4th Street wearing gray sweatpants, red flip-flops and an orange long-sleeve shirt. 

She was reported to have been abducted by Asael Roblero Narvaez at around 8 p.m. Sunday night. Roblero is described as 34 years old, 180 pounds, having brown eyes and black hair. Police do not know what he may be wearing.

Roblero and Ortiz may be traveling in a dark colored SUV, but police do not know the make and model of the vehicle or its license plates.
