Police have not confirmed if the cases are connected or how many suspects they are searching for.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — The Prince William County Police Department are investigating 3 burglaries that happened within two hours.
The first incident took place just before 3:30 a.m. Thursday at Tropical Smoothie located along Fettler Park Drive. Surveillance video caught someone breaking the front door, entering the restaurant and taking the till out of the register and then leaving.
The second incident, happened an hour later at Tobacco King and Vape Shop along Dumfries Road. The burglary was identical to the first one. The suspect broke into the business through the front door, stole money from the cash register and tobacco products, before leaving.
Twenty minutes later, officers responded to the T-Mobile store on Promenade Commons Street in Gainesville, Virginia for an alarm activation. Surveillance cameras showed two men, broke through the front door, smashed the display cases and took several phones. The suspects left in a grey BMW.
Police have not confirmed if the cases are connected or how many suspects they are searching for.
