Rainn Wilson Said That He Was "Unhappy" During "The Office" For Years

“When I was on The Office, I was clutching and grasping at [things like] making hundreds of thousands — I wanted millions. I was a TV star, but I wanted to be a movie star. It was never enough. Humans have lived for hundreds of thousands of years, and 'never enough' has helped us as a species [...] But [nowadays] this 'never enough' impulse is ripping us apart," Rainn continued, saying that working on his spirituality — especially taking lessons from Buddhism — ultimately helped him become more grateful for the present and let go of materialistic ambitions.
