Sony Drops New PS5 ‘Astro Bot’ DualSense Wireless Controller: Here’s Where To Get One Online

One of the best things about “Astro’s Playroom,” the free game that came pre-installed with every Sony PlayStation 5, is that it was a showcase for the console’s new PS5 DualSense Wireless Controller. It made it possible to actually feel what it was like to be inside of a game with advanced motion controls, adaptive triggers and detailed haptic feedback.

And now with the release of the game’s sequel, “Astro Bot,” the gaming and entertainment company releases a new gaming controller that celebrates the mascot. Priced at $79.99, the limited-edition Sony PS5 “Astro Bot” DualSense Wireless Controller is available to buy at Best Buy.

The gaming controller is white with blue accents, just like Astro Bot, while its touchpad has two blue circles that resembles the caped small robots eyes. On the back side of the controller, there’s an Astro Bot logo in gray at its rear center.

Aside from its design and colorway, it’s a traditional PS5 controller with the same action buttons, triggers, analog sticks and D-pad as the one that came with the console.

Additionally, the PS5 Astro Bot DualSense Wireless Controller can be found at Walmart, Amazon and Target.

Meanwhile, the “Astro Bot” game for PS5 is also available now. It’s the sequel to the very popular “Astro’s Playroom” game, which came pre-installed with every PS5 console. The game served as a good introduction to the console and its controller with impressive rumble and haptic feedback, so it seems fitting that Sony released a new gaming controller design to celebrate Astro Bot.
