Starbucks bringing back Pumpkin Spice Latte this week. Here's when you can get one

Obviously, the Pumpkin Spice Latte, the original PSL, will be on the menu. But Starbucks is also rolling out a new drink, and bringing back some fan favorites.

WASHINGTON — Pumpkin spice season is upon us! 

Starbucks has confirmed that the coffee chain's fall menu will be returning starting Thursday, Aug. 22 to stores in the U.S. 

The date was leaked by popular food blogger Markie Devo, among other leakers. It comes slightly earlier than previous years, but still in line with when Starbucks usually rolls out the fall menu. 

Over the past five years, Starbucks' fall drinks, including the Pumpkin Spice Latte, dropped in the second to last or last week of August: 

2023: Thursday, Aug. 24  

2022: Tuesday, Aug. 30 

2021: Tuesday, Aug. 24

2020: Tuesday, Aug. 25

2019: Tuesday, Aug. 27 

This year will mark the 21st year of the "PSL" at Starbucks. 

What's on the fall menu at Starbucks?

Obviously, the Pumpkin Spice Latte, the original PSL, will be back. 

But alongside the ubiquitous fall drink, Starbucks will also debut a new iced apple crisp nondairy cream chai. 

Returning favorites include the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato and the Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. 

Where else can you get pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin flavored treats 

7-Eleven arguably kicked off 2024 pumpkin spice season by bringing back its fall drink lineup on Aug. 1. The company brought back its pumpkin spice coffee, pumpkin spice latte, and pumpkin spice cold brew to its 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores. It also debuted a new Pumpkin Spice Slurpee, but only at five stores

IHOP is launching its fall-themed menu options on Sept. 1, including Pumpkin Spice Pancakes, Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam Cold Brew and Maple Pumpkin Cheesecake Pancakes. 

While Dunkin' hasn't announced when its fall menu will arrive in stores, the company revealed its adding a Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte flavor to its spiked cocktail lineup. It'll be available at retailers in 27 states starting in August.
