Stevie Nicks Has Finally Shared Her Feelings About "Daisy Jones & The Six," Which Was Partially Inspired By Fleetwood Mac's Story

The series, which is based on a popular book of the same name, chronicled a fictional 1970s rock band.

As you might know, the Amazon Prime miniseries Daisy Jones & the Six, which is an adaption of Taylor Jenkins Reid's novel of the same name, is partly inspired by the story of Fleetwood Mac.

The book and show both chronicle the personal and career highs and lows of an enormously successful fictional 1970s rock band. Sound familiar?

In the 1970s, Fleetwood Mac channeled their epic band drama into a blockbuster album: 1977's Rumours. Another parallel is the fictional band includes two women — Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Karen Sirko (Suki Waterhouse) — alongside numerous men.

As for what Stevie thinks of the show, well, on Tuesday she finally shared her thoughts. The singer revealed on Twitter that not only has she seen the series, but she's also watched it twice.

"Just finished watching @daisyjonesand6 for the 2nd time. In the beginning, it wasn't really my story, but Riley seamlessly, soon became my story," Stevie wrote.

In the show, Riley's character Daisy is the Stevie-like lead singer of the group and a generational style icon.

Similarly, Karen is a Christine-like character: a British rocker and female vocalist.

"It brought back memories that made me feel like a ghost watching my own story," Stevie continued in her post.

"It was very emotional for me," she wrote. "I just wish Christine could have seen it. She would have loved it."

Stevie ended her post wishing there's more to come for the Daisy Jones & the Six crew. "Hopefully it will continue..." she said.

Taylor told BuzzFeed News in April a second season is not something she's "inclined to do."

“It's a question of: Do we need that? And, until an answer comes to me where I think we need it, I'm not going to go down that road,” the author said.

Well, now with Stevie's seal of approval, here's hoping Taylor has changed her mind about Season 2.
