First responders say the victim was a teen and has been taken to the hospital in critical condition.
RIVERDALE, Md. — A teen is the hospital in critical condition after being struck by a car in Riverdale, the Prince George's County Fire Department said.
Police say they got a call just before 2:15 p.m. Tuesday that a juvenile was struck by a car near Parkdale High School. Police said the victim was a teen who has been taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
The driver of the car remained on the scene until police arrived.
At this time, it is unknown if the teen attends Parkdale High School or what the circumstances of the crash were.
No other details have been released.
