Teen shot in Northwest DC

The boy was conscious and breathing when he walked into the hospital looking for help.

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after a teen was shot in Northwest D.C. Wednesday night.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 3600 block of Georgia Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. 

Investigators claim a teenage boy showed up at an area hospital with a gunshot wound. The boy was conscious and breathing when he walked into the hospital looking for help. 

There is no word on any suspect information at this time.
