"Tell Cersei, I Want Her To Know It Was Me" — People Are Sharing The Coldest Moments From TV Shows And Movies

"I'm sorry, I can't. Don't hate me..."

Look, I love a sappy romance and a heartfelt family sitcom as much as the next person. But let's be real here — sometimes, I'm just watching my fave TV shows and movies for the mean, nasty moments.

NBC

Recently, Reddit user u/iamharoldshipman (that username is out of our control...) asked the people of r/popculturechat to share the coldest moments in a TV show or movie. Here are some of our favourite responses:

Heads up: THIS POST IS BRIMMING WITH SPOILERS! You've been warned...

2. When Walter White tells Jesse "I was there, and I watched her [Jane] die" in Breaking Bad.

"I just rewatched Breaking Bad for like the sixth time, and Walt is downright evil in that scene."

u/RevertereAdMe

"I’ve only watched this series the whole way through once. I really want to rewatch it, but I don’t think I can emotionally handle Jesse crying, so instead I’m on my 5000th rewatch through of Gossip Girl."

3. When Olenna Tyrell realises she's about to die, confesses that she murdered Jaime and Cersei's child, and then says "tell Cersei, I want her to know it was me" in Game of Thrones.

HBO

4. Mellie Grant’s monologue to Fitz after they sign their divorce papers in Scandal.

ABC

"The DRAGGING that man deserved after all the shit she put up with from him. Team Mellie all the way! I recite the line 'Spent twenty years propping you up making you feel better about your pathetic mediocrity' daily — she really humbled him, and I can quote this scene by heart. Bellamy Young deserved an Emmy for this!"

"I've never seen this show, but this line resonates so hard with me. I want to say this to my ex."

"This dude was the coldest MF on television. He literally ate people up as if he was making a sandwich, and he looked gorgeous doing it. Walter White could never. Tyrion Lannister could never. Tony Soprano could never."
