Sometimes an actor's commitment to playing a role, while commendable, can kind of backfire.

What basically ends up happening is that a person is so good at one particular character, we kinda can't ever unsee them as that character, despite what other roles they may take on.

Do you know what I mean? If you do, we wanna know your examples of when an actor has done SUCH a good job with a character, they've almost become ~stuck~ as them.

Maybe, like me, you recently watched Uzo Aduba in Painkiller, but kept thinking about Suzanne in Orange is the New Black.

Or perhaps you loved the original UK version of Shameless, and can't see David Threlfall as anyone but Frank Gallagher.
