That Awkward Hugh Grant Interview Has Become The New "Slap," And Here's What People Are Saying About It

So, there are two opinions or camps on this "issue."

The first being that Hugh was super rude to Ashley.

It's a red carpet interview which is essentially free, positive press.

Celebrities know what they're getting into when they participate in these interviews, and there's no one forcing them to do them, so why be a dick?

Ashley has responded to the drama telling a TMZ cameraperson, "You know what? My mama told me to kill people with kindness, so there you go."

And that's exactly what she did during the entire interview, she killed him with kindness.

The other camp is that Ashley completely missed the ball.

She didn't get Hugh's "vanity fair*" joke...

Also, Hugh was also barely in Glass Onion, so why bring it up?

Other people say he's just British, and this is the difference between British and American humor.
