These Are The 40 Most Drool-Worthy "Emily In Paris" Outfits From All Four Seasons

2 hours ago 1

Sylvie is my forever style icon, sorry not sorry.

Whether you love it or hate it, Emily in Paris would not be what it is without the fashion. From Emily's mix of bold and bright (and, let's be honest, often controversial) looks to Mindy's risk-taking fits and Sylvie's effortless elegance, there's something for all tastes to admire. So, in honor of Season 4 FINALLY letting Emily serve looks that are a little less bonkers, here are all the best looks from all four seasons.

1. Let's be real: Sylvie slays every fit, but this elegant sheath dress is simply to die for. That neckline?? The sleeves and silhouette?? The epitome of Parisian chic.

2. One of Emily's actually more wearable outfits from Season 1, accessorized by every girl's dream: a Chanel shopping bag.

Netflix

3. Emily at the ballet was giving nothing short of Audrey Hepburn, which the costume designer has said was a reference to Funny Face, a movie where Hepburn plays an American bookstore employee who is tapped to be a model and is whisked away to Paris by Fred Astaire.

4. Another surprisingly wearable look from Emily in Season 1 —disregarding the beautiful but not exactly accessible Chanel pearls — though we need not talk about the rhinestone handbag as a work bag.

5. This dreamy architectural dress was designed by Pierre Caudet in the show, but in real life was created by Stephane Rolland, a Parisian couturier who has designed looks for every fashion icon you can think of, from Beyoncé to Naomi Campbell.

6. There is so much inspiration to be taken from Emily and Mindy's visit to St. Tropez in Season 2, whether it's Mindy's sexy all-white ensemble or Emily channeling 1960s glam with a French twist hairstyle and mod makeup, which was an interesting contrast to her shiny purple outfit.

7. However, Sylvie's look from the St. Tropez episode is what truly served, with her green flapper-inspired dress that would make Gatsby's heart stop and gold arm cuff, all of which gives nothing short of beach goddess.

8. Mindy's outfits always give elevated camp, and this Sinatra-esque outfit, complete with a fedora and cape, is perfect for busking on the streets of Paris.

Netflix

9. Emily channels the 1960s once again in the headscarf and beehive updo she pairs with a bright pink cape. Sylvie's militaristic chain-embellished jacket and matching dress are just as gorgeous, if not a complete contrast of aesthetics, which is a nice metaphor for the duo's opposing personalities and life philosophies.

10. While this sleek black and white sweetheart dress is a play on a suit, it's not exactly office-friendly. However, it would be a perfect choice for an office party.

Netflix

11. The color is stunning, and the dramatic silhouette is perfectly suited for a fashion show at a place as extravagant as Versailles. The truly breathtaking part of the outfit, though, is the gorgeous way Emily's hair is styled and accessorized.

12. Sylvie's outfit to stage a marketing agency palace coup at the end of Season 2 was nothing short of fabulous. Who would have even thought of wearing a scarf that way?? Betrayal has never looked so good. *Takes notes.*

Netflix

13. Sylvie once again kills it by managing to make a metallic gold blouse look both elegant and cool — which would be giving "Vegas strip" on most other people. I need that belt and those sunglasses immediately.

14. Mindy's dramatic wardrobe — and vibe — change during her performance of "Don't Start Now" would have absolutely made Dua Lipa proud.

15. We don't get to see much of Emily's silver dress during Mindy's performance, but the sparkly high neck chainmail number with the dramatic lip and perfectly undone bun would be great styling inspiration for a special occasion.

16. This floral sweetheart dress is absolutely perfect for a romantic picnic in Paris (or wherever you happen to be), and I love that Emily paired it with playful cherry jewelry.

Netflix

17. Camille and Sylvie both sport the iconic luxury design house Maison Schiaparelli, known for its use of Surrealism and bold gold accents in its designs, perfect outfits for a chic French art gallery opening.

18. If there's anything to be taken from Emily in Paris, it's how bringing back elaborate hairstyles really completes, if not elevates, a look. I love the messy braided bun, which is a nice parallel to a black-and-white houndstooth set — a traditionally conservative color and print — that has a surprise element of fringe to add playfulness.

19. I love this gorgeous gingham skirt set for lounging by the pool because it's not immediately apparent it's a swimsuit, so it's perfect for other summer shenanigans.

20. Mindy's structured skirt suit set is so elegant, but the vibrant lemon yellow keeps it fun instead of stuffy.

21. The funeral fake-out moment when Pierre Caudet was run over was iconic not just for the show's plot but for the looks everyone at Agence Grateau served as well.

Netflix

22. Emily's pairing of this blue velvet suit set with a faux bob and statement earring is the perfect marriage of funky and chic.

Netflix

23. While Mindy's boyfriend's dad may not have approved of her daring outfit (and to be fair, meeting any potential future in-laws with sheer swirls circling your boobs is certainly a choice and not one for the faint of heart), she definitely looked amazing in it. Emily's futuristic dress was also a knockout choice; it was elegant with a hint of badass and perfect for a trendy store opening.

24. No one mixes prints like Emily does, but the monochromatic black, white, and red — not to mention the perfectly matched lip — makes the mix of checkerboard prints work surprisingly well together.

25. This pink floral dress is dreamy and romantic, perfect for a wedding where you're secretly in love with the groom. But can we take a moment of appreciation for Alfie pulling off a peach suit with absolute finesse?

26. Matching sets like this pink and green floral one make you look put together, even when your life is messy, as in you-just-broke-up-a-wedding-and-your-boyfriend's-heart messy.

27. Emily is definitely channeling Sylvie here in this stunning three-piece suit, but I will never get over this swoon-worthy color.

Netflix

28. You know you gasped out loud when Emily floated up the stairs in this striking striped ensemble, channeling Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady, which was absolutely perfect for the drama of a glamorous masquerade.

29. Is this leather floral mini from French designer Balmain paired with wet-looking hair and emerald green eyeshadow a super wearable look? No. Is it a fantastic fashion moment to watch (and get to live vicariously) through our screens? Absolutely.

30. The mini dress and turtleneck combo is definitely something I am going to be stealing for my own outfit rotation. We also need to take a moment for this fabulous coat she paired with it.

31. Emily once again channels Audrey Hepburn with this skiing outfit, except this time, the cinematic reference is to Charade, which is especially fitting considering the skiing scenes in the original movie were also filmed in Megève.

32. If fall were an outfit, it would be this. Only Emily could coordinate red, yellow, and brown and actually pull it off. I can't decide if I love the cape (why don't people wear capes anymore??) or the perfectly color-coordinated burgundy lips, winged liner, and vintage leather jacket.

33. The mix of black-and-white prints brings a fresh take on Emily's Annie Hall-inspired tie and suspenders outfit, Diane Keaton would certainly approve.

Netflix

34. Emily's 1960s-inspired outfit is also giving Britney in "Oops I Did It Again" and I am LIVING for it.

35. This androgynous look from Emily is incredibly, dare I say, chic — metallic beetle color notwithstanding — and another look only Emily could pull off without looking like she's in costume.

36. While Genevieve is undoubtedly the villain with her All About Eve sabotage of Emily, you have to admit the girl has great style, and this fit is no exception.

Netflix

37. Opera gloves and a backward circlet should so be de rigueur for formal wear.

38. Nothing says la dolce vita like a romantic hair scarf and flowy off-the-shoulder blouse. The show's costume designer has also said that the butterfly bag is meant to represent Emily's leap of faith, choosing to prioritize love over work for once.

39. Emily channels Audrey Hepburn once again, this time referencing none other than Roman Holiday, appropriately glamorous for Emily's own Roman holiday.

Lily Collins wears sunglasses, a checkered jacket, white shirt, scarf, and black skirt. She stands outdoors near vibrant plants and flowers

Netflix

40. Emily's last look of the season was this lovely polka dot dress, complete with floaty petticoats, reminiscent of another old Hollywood starlet: Sophia Loren. The look is a more relaxed version of Emily's style in Paris, with a fitting tribute to Italian glamour. After all, it's as they say: when in Rome.
