A Connecticut Avenue jewelry store was robbed Saturday, according to D.C. police.
WASHINGTON — A jewelry store on Connecticut Avenue was robbed Saturday, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
Tiny Jewel Box was also the victim of an armed robbery in February.
Police say at 2:10 p.m. two suspects broke the window and display case at the Tiny Jewel Box. The two took off with an undisclosed amount of jewelry and hopped inside a blue sedan.
Officials have not released what the robbers took or how much the jewels were worth.
No arrests have been reported by MPD for this or the prior robbery, and it is unknown if the two are connected.
Police are asking anyone with information to reach out to them at 202-727-9099.
