LAKE ARBOR, Md. — A toddler is in the hospital with serious injuries after being shot.
Officers were called to the 600 block of Brookedge Court, Sunday just before 4 p.m. for reports of a shooting. When they arrived first responders found a toddler with a gunshot wound.
At this time, it is unclear how the toddler was shot.
This investigation is ongoing and very little information has been released at this time. We have a crew there gathering information.
According to our crew, police have taken someone into custody. The person appears to be underage, so we're not putting the footage of their arrest out.
