Train derailment in Fredericksburg, Virginia, police investigate

According to officials Saturday night, a freight train traveling along the 400 block of Cobblestone Drive derailed causing damage to structures in the area. Officials say at least five cars derailed and crashed into six garages at Cobblestone Square. 

Crews with the Fire Department say there were no injuries or hazardous materials reported at the scene. The cause of the derailment has not been released. However, crews say they will be on the scene for an extended amount of time and are asking people to avoid the area.
