TOP STORY: Man United, Man City and Barca in the race for Olmo

Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City are amongst the clubs in the race for RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo, reveals Nicolo Schira.

The 26-year-old notched four goals and five assists in the Bundesliga last season, attracting the interest of several top European clubs in the process. It is reported that Olmo has a release clause of €60m, which is valid until July.

It has been reported that Manchester City are keen to add to their midfield options this summer, with Kevin de Bruyne entering the final year of his contract at the club, and Saudi Pro League clubs circling. Bernardo Silva also faces an uncertain future at the Etihad Stadium, which makes Olmo an even more attractive proposition to the Premier League champions.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have also been heavily linked with Olmo, who has previously been reported to be keen on a move to the Catalan giants. However, the Spanish outfit have well-documented financial struggles which could see them struggle to finalise a move for Olmo.

Manchester United are also interested, with the Red Devils expected to add to their attacking options this summer. Olmo's versatility at either the wing or as a striker could make him an attractive prospect for United.

- Manchester United have made an initial approach for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte, according to Sky Sports. Whilst the report indicates that the Red Devils have not yet made a formal approach, discussions are ongoing internally as they weigh up a potential move this summer.

Sources have also informed ESPN that an official approach has not yet occurred, however, Ugarte is being considered by the Premier League outfit. It has been heavily reported that United are very keen to add to their midfield options this summer, which has seen Ugarte emerge as one potential option for the Premier League giants. With Casemiro and Christian Eriksen potentially set to depart Old Trafford, alongside Sofyan Amrabat's return to Fiorentina, United will need to dip into the transfer market to ensure they bolster their midfield options.

- An unnamed Premier League club have joined Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona in the race for Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, reveal Sky Sports. It is reported that Bayern value the Frenchman at €50m, with the German giants able to demand a sizeable fee due to Coman being under contract until 2027. The 28-year-could may be offloaded this summer, with previous reports suggesting that the player is very open to a move to PSG.

- Manchester United have held preliminary talks with Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, per TeamTalk. However, the Red Devils will face competition for the Frenchman, with Arsenal and Aston Villa both monitoring the playmaker. The 29-year-old has been identified by Arsenal as a potential replacement for Thomas Partey who looks set to depart the Emirates this summer. Rabiot is reportedly unlikely to agree a new deal with Juventus, leaving the door ajar for an exit.

- Liverpool are continuing talks with Lille defender Leny Yoro's representatives, according to Football Insider. Whilst the 18-year-old is currently expected to leave the French club for Real Madrid, it is reported that Liverpool are ready to pounce should negotiations fail to progress. The report reveals that whilst Yoro has informed his representatives of his desire to join Madrid, they have not yet reached an agreement, though talks are still progressing.

- Chelsea and West Ham have a concrete interest in Lille forward Jonathan David, per Sky Sports Deutschland's Florian Plettenberg. It is reported that the 24-year-old is set to depart Lille this summer, with the striker having just one year remaining on his current deal with the French club under pressure to facilitate a departure this summer to ensure he does not leave as a free agent next year. Plettenberg suggests that Lille will accept a fee between €20-25m. Alongside Chelsea and West Ham, Manchester United have also been named as an interested party.
