We recently asked members of our BuzzFeed Community, "What's your absolute ultimate dream movie casting? Whether it's an actor for a specific character, a specific movie, or even just a specific genre?" and you better believe they came through with some absolutely incredible answers!
So, with that in mind, here are just a few of the most popular responses shared! Let's start with specific characters and/or specific movies:
1. Ke Huy Quan as the lead in a new Indiana Jones franchise
"I want Ke Huy Quan as the new Indiana Jones. He could come back as a grown-up Short Round and take over the role from Harrison Ford! Bonus: He’s worked as a stunt coordinator on previous movies!"
2. Caleb McLaughlin as Miles Morales in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
"Caleb Mclaughlin as Miles Morales would be AMAZING!"
3. Claudia Jessie as Jane Porter in Disney's Tarzan
"Claudia Jessie was born to play Jane Porter in a live-action version of Disney's Tarzan. She's British, looks like the character, would kill in a yellow dress, and she's witty and funny. Plus, she's already got a fanbase from her work in Bridgerton!"
4. Oscar Isaac as Harvey Dent in The Batman franchise
"I really want Oscar Isaac as Harvey Dent in the Robert Pattinson Batman universe."
5. Jared Keeso as Logan (aka Wolverine) in a new X-Men franchise
"Jared Keeso (Wayne from Letterkenny) would make a GREAT Logan/Wolverine. He has the build, he is Canadian, the scowl is perfect, and he is the toughest guy in Letterkenny. He ticks all the right boxes."
6. Rami Malek as the lead in a Knives Out film
"Rami Malek as a new Knives Out protagonist — a character like Marta and Helen! Plus, his chemistry was so good with Daniel Craig in No Time to Die, it would be good seeing them go from on-screen enemies to on-screen friends."
7. Josh Brolin and Charlize Theron as Rourke and Helga in Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire
"We all know Atlantis: The Lost Empire is ignored by Disney and consistently slept on, and — while the original is perfect — a lot of people want a live-action version. Josh Brolin and Charlize Theron were practically made to play Rourke and Helga (the villains)."
8. Evan Peters as Alex in A Clockwork Orange
"I think most reboots are bad, but Evan Peters would be perfect as Alex if there was ever a reboot of A Clockwork Orange."
9. Andrew Garfield as Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter franchise
"ANDREW GARFIELD AS REMUS LUPIN. I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL."

11. Taylor Swift as Alison Blaire (aka Dazzler) in a new X-Men franchise

12. Zac Efron as Ryland Grace in an adaptation of Project Hail Mary
"Efron would absolutely crush it as Ryland Grace. The character is smart, attractive, relatively young, and not a little sarcastic. I’d love to see Efron in that role."

"My dream James Bond movie cast would be Elba as Bond, Kate Beckinsale as a Bond girl, Gary Oldman as M, and Tilda Swinton as Q. This might be the only time the actor playing Bond wasn't 20 years older than the actress playing the Bond girl."
15. Sophie Turner as Astrid in an adaptation of The Waterfire Saga
"When I was in middle school, everyone was obsessed with these books called The Waterfire Saga by Jennifer Donnelly, which was about these six mermaids who team up to save the world. I was OBSESSED, so much so that I still have a Google Doc of my dream cast of the entire series, down to the smallest side character. Anyway, it all started the first time I saw a picture of Turner and immediately thought of Astrid, one of the six mermaids."

"I would love to see DiCaprio play a weird main character in a genuine comedy. I think he could pull it off, and it would be a nice change of pace!"

"I want The Rock and Crews to do a comedy together where they’re doing something unexpected like raising someone’s baby. And, of course, a short king like Radcliffe to round it all out."
18. Adam Driver as the lead in a queer romantic comedy
"I want Driver in a queer rom-com just so I can watch him be a himbo for 90-120 minutes. Even better if his love interest is also some type of action hero actor you wouldn’t expect in a movie like that."
19. Chicha Amatayakul and Daniel Kaluuya as co-leads in a romantic comedy
"I want to see Amatayakul and Kaluuya in a relatable, messy rom-com together. Something in vein of Netflix's Love or Fleabag."
20. Sebastian Stan as the lead in a romantic comedy
"I just want to see Sebastian Stan in a rom-com. He plays mentally-unhinged characters so well, but I want to see him in a cheesy '90s-style rom-com. I just feel like he’d be really good because the first half of Fresh had that vibe...emphasis on FIRST HALF."
