In 2024, Michael Cera walked out of Bobbi Althoff's The Really Good Podcast after refusing to answer several questions as part of a running gag running up to his Super Bowl ad with CeraVe.

There are plenty of situations where it's just better to walk away. Other times, walking out is just the funnier option.

Here are 7 times celebs walked out on interviews as a joke:

1. In a recently resurfaced USA Today interview from 2023, Jennifer Aniston jokingly walked out on her three-time costar Adam Sandler after finding out that he gifted his previous costars luxury cars.

After a break, the band members came back in and admitted that it was all a big prank Kyle put them up to.

6. When David Cross appeared on The Late Show in 2018, he brought up his and Stephen Colbert's past experience writing for The Dana Carvey Sketch Show. When the host misremembered who wrote a specific sketch, David walked off.

7. And Joan Rivers famously stormed out of a CNN interview in 2014, so when she later appeared on the Late Show, David Letterman walked out on her.

And here are 7 times celebs walked off interviewers because they were seemingly upset:

8. At the 2024 BAFTAs, a BBC red carpet reporter asked Andrew Scott about Barry Keoghan's naked dance scene at the end of Saltburn — a movie Andrew isn't even in. So, he excused himself.

9. Marc Summers walked off the 2024 docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV because they "did a bait and switch on" him. When he did the interview, he was unaware the documentary was intended to expose the "dark side" of Nickelodeon.

10. In 2020, Joaquin Phoenix walked out of an interview with the Telegraph after the reporter asked if he was "worried that [Joker] might perversely end up inspiring exactly the kind of people its about, with potentially tragic results."

11. In 2019, Naomi Campbell reportedly declined to answer a red carpet reporter's questions about Liam Payne, whom she was rumored to be dating at the time, and walked away.

12. In 2019, Adam Driver reportedly walked out of an NPR Fresh Air interview because he didn't like it when host Terry Gross played a clip of the actor singing "Being Alive" from Company (which Adam's character sings in Marriage Story).

13. During a 2013 appearance on Howard TV, Mel B endured a series of invasive questions about her sexuality from host Howard Stern. Then, when he tried to pressure her into coming out, she left the set.

14. And finally, on the Spanish radio show Los 40 Principales, the hosts capped off an awkward interview with Justin Bieber by telling him they wanted to make a video to "break the internet." He agreed — but then walked off.
