The victim was found stabbed to death inside an apartment.
WASHINGTON — D.C. Police have arrested a man in connection to a fatal stabbing in Northwest.
On Monday, police announced the arrest of 19-year-old Audrey Miller for allegedly stabbing Fasil Teklemariam to death. On April 5, officers were called to the 1300 block of Peabody Street for reports of a man unconscious inside an apartment.
When they arrived they located Teklemariam suffering from stab wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS arrived on the scene and pronounced him dead moments later. Police have not released any information on how the two knew each other.
Investigators located Miller in Hagerstown, Maryland on June 17. Miller is being charged with First-Degree Murder while Armed. He has been be extradited back to D.C. and processed.
