2 people shot in Rockville, police say

ROCKVILLE, Md. — Police are investigating after two people were shot in Rockville Thursday morning. Montgomery County Police officers were called to the scene in the 14900 block of Southlawn Lane just before 9 a.m.

Investigators did not provide conditions for the two people that were shot. Police say the scene is secure and they are gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses. Detectives are still working to learn exactly what happened but believe it was an isolated incident.
