3 men wanted for stealing merchandise from Clarksburg Nike store, police say

Investigators say three men walked into the store and grabbed an undisclosed amount of merchandise.

CLARKSBURG, Md. — Police are searching for three men accused of stealing merchandise from a Nike store in Clarksburg last month.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Police, officers were called to the store along Clarksburg Road around 9:30 p.m. for a theft on Aug. 26. 

Investigators say three men walked into the store and grabbed an undisclosed amount of merchandise. The trio then left with the stolen items. 

Police released images of the three people wanted in connection to the Nike store theft, along with descriptions of the three men:

  • Suspect one: Approximately 6-feet tall, with a slim build, wearing a black shirt, blue pants with a white stripe down the side and light-colored shoes.
  • Suspect two: Approximately 5-feet, 5-inches tall, with a slim build, wearing a white t-shirt, a camouflage sweatshirt and dark jeans.
  • Suspect three: Approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall, with a slim build, wearing a black baseball hat, black surgical mask, black t-shirt and black pants.

The photos captured two of the accused men carrying bags out of the store, while the third man appears to be leaving with a filled trash bag.
