Police say Pepco is aware of the outage and there is no timeframe for when power may return.
ROCKVILLE, Md. — Drivers in Rockville should use caution while traveling along Veirs Mill Road on Wednesday evening, as police say all the traffic lights in the area are not working.
According to Rockville City Police, officers are currently at the intersections directing traffic while the lights are out.
Police say Pepco is aware of the outage but there is no timeframe for when the repairs will be made.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution. According to AAA, drivers should treat it like a four-way stop when approaching an intersection where the traffic light is not working. Unless you are being directed by a traffic controller, drivers should yield to any vehicle that was at the intersection first or on your right.
