Chris Pine Just Said That He Doesn’t Know Anything About “Princess Diaries 3,” And People Are Panicking

Needless to say, fans were over the moon by this big reveal, with Anne starring as lead character Mia Thermopolis in the first two movies — an awkward teenager who discovers that she’s actually the princess of a small European state.

Before long, people started to wonder who else will be returning for the third movie, and shared their hope that Chris Pine will reprise his role as Nicholas, Mia’s love interest in the second film.

But panic has started to set in after Chris appeared to be none the wiser when he was quizzed on The Princess Diaries 3 during a recent appearance on Today.

And it seems as though thousands of people could resonate with this feeling, with the tweet being viewed almost two million times in less than 24 hours, and racking up 10s of thousands of likes, bookmarks, and retweets. 

“if chris pine isn’t in princess diaries 3 i will never recover from the disappointment,” somebody added in the quote tweets.

“If Disney doesn’t bring this fine ass man back for Princess Diaries 3, I will personally come to Bob Iger’s house and make so much noise that he will never know another restful night of his life,” one more joked.

Another tweeted: “chris i need you to pick up the phone and do princess diaries 3. its important for my mental stability actually!”

But others theorized that Chris was bluffing, with one referencing Andrew Garfield’s top secret No Way Home cameo as they wrote: “i see you attended the andrew garfield school of 'i swear im not in this movie' chris pine. i see you.”
