Dog stolen at gunpoint in Prince George's County, police say

Yana was allegedly stolen during an armed robbery in Maryland.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — A woman was robbed at gunpoint Friday and her dog, Yana, was stolen, according to the Prince George's County Police Department. 

PGPD says the armed robbery occurred on Aug. 31 at around 7 a.m. near the 4800 block of Avondale Overlook Drive. 

This is an active and ongoing investigation and police are looking for more information that could lead to Yana's safe and successful return home.
