The surprise sequel just got a little more sequel-y.

Earlier this year, Disney fans the world over had their world rocked — rocked, I tell ya — by the announcement that the beloved 2016 hit Moana was getting a sequel.

What's more, the movie's going to be released this year — Nov. 27, to be exact.

Now, November is only a few months away — so it makes sense that we now have our first real glimpse at Moana 2 courtesy of the film's first trailer, which premiered at last night's D23 event.

Moana stars Auli'i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson showed up to the fan event to introduce the trailer themselves, and it was quite a reveal.

"Wait till you see the villains we have," Dwayne told the crowd (via Entertainment Weekly) — and the trailer teased the introduction of Moana's younger sister Simea, who will be voiced by Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda.

Auli'i also performed a new song from the film, "We're Back," at the event — here's a snippet that the Mouse House themselves posted:

In case you forgot the synopsis of Moana 2 when it was revealed this year, here it is: "After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced."
