The man can be seen peeking through several family homes in broad daylight.
WASHINGTON — DC Police are investigating after residents in Northwest D.C. reported a man peeking through their windows.
Greg Follin lives in the area and said he was stunned when he saw the footage.
“I’m creeped out," Follin said. "I know other people are very creeped out."
On Sunday, his next-door neighbor's camera captured a man looking through the back window of his home on 3rd Street NW.
“I looked at the timestamp, he was looking through my window, as I was watching football two Sundays ago,” Follin told WUSA9.
In a video shared by another resident named Nikki, the man can be seen peeking through several family homes. In one video, the man moves the camera, pointing it towards the sky and away from the window view.
“It makes me feel absolutely sick to think someone was that close to walking into my home, while I was here,” Nikki said.
Nikki told WUSA9 she has since filed a police report. She said she shared the video with several business owners, who recognized the man as someone who frequents a nearby liquor store.
Nikki worries that the man will return or attempt to break in.
"It’s unsettling because I know there’s a good chance I’ll cross paths and he might come back. I’m hoping we can get the public’s help identifying him," Nikki said.
DC Police said they are investigating.
