Police were called to the 13th Street for "one-down" when they arrived they found a man who had been shot.
SILVER SPRING, Md. — Montgomery County Police are searching for the person responsible for killing a man in Downtown Silver Spring on Monday morning.
Police were called to 13th Street just before 9:45 a.m. for reports of "one-down." When officers arrived they found a man in an alleyway suffering from gunshot wounds.
First responders attempted life-saving measures, but the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the victim's identity at this time. Officials say they do not have any suspect descriptions at this time.
