Man found shot dead inside Chillum apartment

CHILLUM, Md. — Police are trying to learn who shot and killed a man inside an apartment in Prince George's County late Tuesday night.

Officers were called to the Highview Apartments in the 7000 block of Highview Terrace around 11 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Once there, officers found a man, who has not yet been identified, shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead.

Detectives are working to figure out exactly what led up to the shooting, interviewing potential witnesses and establishing a motive. So far, no arrests have been made.
