A man who had been stabbed had arrived at the Sixth District Police station searching for help Sunday afternoon.
WASHINGTON — A stabbing in Northeast D.C. left one man dead and a woman injured Sunday afternoon.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 900 block of Division Avenue, Northeast for reports of a stabbing just before 3 p.m.
Before officers arrived, police say a man who had been stabbed had arrived at the Sixth District Police station searching for help. The man, later identified as 23-year-old Gray Hall, was taken to an area hospital by DC Fire and EMS. He was later pronounced dead by hospital staff.
When officers arrived at Divison Avenue, they found a woman who had also been stabbed. She was treated for her wounds at a hospital and is expected to survive.
Police have not released any information regarding suspect descriptions or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the deadly stabbing.
