32-year-old Jeremy Dewayne Johnson died from gunshot wounds eight months ago. Now, police have named the person they believe did it.
WASHINGTON — Police are asking for help finding a man who they say shot and killed another man in February.
Jeremy Dewayne Johnson, 32, of Southeast D.C., died after being shot on Feb. 12. Police responded to the sound of gunshots on the 900 block of Shepherd Street Northwest at 2:41 a.m. When they arrived, they found Johnson injured. He died at the scene.
Now, police have identified the suspect as 31-year-old Orlando Anderson.
Anderson was caught on security camera video that police shared on Feb. 29, and now, they’re sharing a mugshot.
There is a D.C. Superior Court warrant out for his arrest for second-degree murder while armed.
