Police are investigating the man's death as a homicide.
WASHINGTON — An investigation is underway in Northeast, D.C. after a man was found dead following a shooting on Wednesday.
At 3:15 p.m., officers with the Metropolitan Police Department responded to 9th Street in Northeast. A man was found dead on the street. His body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
As a result, it was determined the man had been shot. His death is now being investigated as a homicide.
The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Ronald Williams of Northeast, D.C.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
So far, police have not identified any suspects in connection to his death. They have also not said what led up to the deadly shooting or identified a motive.
