Two men and three women stole about $500,000 worth of jewelry.
FALLS CHURCH, Va. — Police in Falls Church are asking for the public's help to find five people who worked together to steal about half a million dollars in jewelry from a store there.
The City of Falls Church Police Department released surveillance images from the March 10 heist. Investigators say it happened at Tri State Jewelers at 110 W Broad Street around 1:45 p.m.
Police said two men kept the employees of the store busy while three other women walked around the store. While the employees were distracted, a woman wearing a purple dress with a white checkered design and a blue head scarf crawled into the back room and stole approximately $500,000 worth of jewelry.
Police released still images of the five suspects on Wednesday.
