Police search for suspects in string of commercial burglaries in Rockville.

Rockville City Police believe these burglaries are related to several others in the county.

ROCKVILLE, Md. — Rockville City Police are investigating after suspects broke into several commercial businesses on Wednesday. 

The burglaries happened between 1 and 2 a.m., between the 800 and 1600 block of Rockville Pike.

The robbers were caught on surveillance, inside the ULTA Beauty located at Congressional Plaza. A store Tracy Berman and her mom shop at often.

“Honestly, I was really surprised. I always feel safe here, absolutely. " Berman, said.

Police say the robbers broke the glass of the businesses. Once inside they took cash and merchandise. It is unknown how much money or the total value of merchandise the robbers were able to get away with. 

They were all wearing masks during the burglaries and fled in a White, Audi Q5.

Long time residents say crime in the area is getting worse, but the consequences aren’t.

“You need to arrest them and that will get the message to the rest of the gangsters." John Luke Mukendi, said. 

Rockville City Police believe these burglaries are related to several others in the county. Anyone with information on these cases is asked to contact police.
