WASHINGTON — DC Police are searching for answers after three people were shot Thursday night. It happened just before 11:30 p.m. on Halloween. Details on the shooting are slim at the moment. Here's what we know.

Officers with the Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 3500 block of 22nd Street Southeast around 11:23 p.m. for a reported shooting. When officers got to the scene, they found a man, a woman and a teenage boy all shot. All of the victims were conscious and breathing when they were taken to the hospital, according to a spokesperson for the department. No word on their current conditions.

Police have not identified the people shot, or said whether they are related to one and other. Investigators are still working to learn what led up to the shooting. Police were on the scene Thursday gathering evidence and interviewing potential witnesses.

Police have not put out any lookout information for a potential suspect or suspects in this shooting. However, anyone who may have information is asked to contact MPD at 202-727-9099 or text the department's tip line at 50411.

This is the second shooting with three victims in the DMV area on Halloween. Three people were also hurt in a shooting in Arlington.
