Two people shot in Sterling parking lot

STERLING, Va. — Two people are in the hospital after being shot in Sterling, Virginia.

Police are asking people to avoid the 21000 block of Ridgetop Circle in the area of Huntington Square. The shooting happened before 5 a.m. and appears to have been in a parking lot in the area. The two victims have serious injuries, but police have provided no specific details on who the people are. 

Police have also not said who shot them or if they are looking for a suspect.
