STAFFORD, Va. — Once a corrections officer at the Rappahannock Regional Jail, a Virginia man is now one of its prisoners after he was arrested on Monday and booked with five felony counts, including three counts of sexual battery against a prisoner.
"The information provided was that the suspect had improper contact with a female inmate," Stafford County Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday. "As a result of their investigation, the suspect was taken into custody without incident later that day."
Chadwick Jackson lives in King George. The 60-year-old corrections officer was also booked with two counts of carnal knowledge with the prisoner, a legal term for sexual intercourse.
He is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $3,000 secured bond, according to the Sheriff's Office.
