WASHINGTON — Wendy's is celebrating spooky season with a new meal option for "kidults."

The fast food chain is offering "Boo! Bag" meals for adults from Oct. 21, while supplies last.

The meals feature a Dave's single hamburger, small fry, small chocolate frosty and a glow-in-the-dark frosty figurine. It also comes with a Boo! Book coupon book, which is good for five free Jr. Frosty treats and a bonus coupon for a $1.99 Wendy's Kids' Meal with any purchase.

The Boo! Book of frosty coupons is also available to purchase separately for $1, with proceeds benefiting the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption

The debut of the Boo! Bag meals come a few weeks after Wendy's started offering "Frosty Frights" toys with their kids' meals.

Wendy's isn't the only chain dishing up some specialty Halloween offers.

McDonald's recently brought back their fan-favorite "Boo Bucket" Happy Meal pails. The Boo Buckets were first offered at restaurants in 1986 as a limited time promotion, but "vanished for a while" before reappearing for the first time in several years in 2022. This will be the third consecutive year that the pails have returned for Halloween.

Burger King rolled out some spooky plans of its own and launched a "Addams Family Menu" featuring four menu items inspired by the animated films.

The limited-time items include Wednesday's Whopper, which is a Whopper served on a purple bun, and Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake. There's also Thing's Rings and Gomez's Churro Fries.

Burger King also has a limited-edition line of King Jr. Meal toys inspired by the characters from "The Addams Family" films.

And Dunkin' launched its own Halloween bucket this year to serve up a 50-count of their MUNCHKINS donut hole treats. The company is also introducing a new Potion Macchiato and a revamped Spider Specialty Donut.
