Will Taylor Swift be in Kansas City for the NFL season kickoff?

WASHINGTON — The NFL season kicks off Thursday night with the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Baltimore Ravens. And one big question looms, will Taylor Swift be in attendance to help usher in the regular season? And just how many games will she go to this year?

Last season, Swift appeared at 13 of Travis Kelce's Chiefs games, including the Super Bowl victory in Las Vegas. The couple's relationship became one of the season's biggest off-the-field storylines and is sure to be a big talker as Kansas City begins its quest to become the first team to three-peat in the Super Bowl era.

Over the summer break, Kelce traveled with Swift as she toured the globe for her Eras Tour, even making a surprise appearance on-stage during one show

The pop superstar is currently on a break from her tour before it ramps up again for a series of shows in the U.S. and Canada during October, November and December.

With no tour conflicts this week, according to The Athletic's Nate Taylor and Dianna Russini, Swift will be in attendance for the season opener against the Ravens.

Looking at Swift's remaining Eras Tour schedule, there are only three Chiefs games that fall on the same dates as one of her shows:

  • Oct. 20 - Taylor Swift show in Miami, Chiefs at San Francisco 49ers
  • Oct. 27 - Taylor Swift show in New Orleans, Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders
  • Dec. 8 - Taylor Swift show in Vancouver, Chargers at Chiefs

Beyond those three dates however, there are a handful of other games within a few days of tour stops that could be difficult for her to attend.
